Bamboozle — the Bluffing Party Game
Bamboozle is a free multiplayer bluffing game by nazimbo that runs entirely in the browser: two teams invent convincing fake answers to real trivia, then bet their tokens on which answer is true. Wrong bets disappear — the last team standing wins.
Opens the official site bamboozle.nazimbo.com in a new tab — the game only runs on its own domain.
Fastest start: open the link on your phone or laptop, create a private room, and send the shareable link to your friends — nobody needs an account. Public matchmaking also exists, but for a good first game bring at least one friend.
How a round works
- 1A real question drops
Each round asks a trivia question. One team secretly sees the true answer.
- 2Write your bluff
Everyone else types a fake answer designed to sound more believable than the truth.
- 3Bet your tokens
All answers appear mixed together. Teams bet tokens on the one they believe is real — confident bets win big, wrong bets are lost for good.
- 4Last team standing wins
Tokens are finite; when a team runs out, they're eliminated. Rematches can be launched straight from the final score screen.
Rooms, players and devices
Private rooms
One player hosts a room and shares a simple link. Everyone else joins from that link on their own phone or computer — 2 to 16 players.
Public matchmaking
A public queue exists for pickup games. English and French players are placed in separate queues, so matchmaking is busiest around scheduled windows announced by the dev.
Devices
Works on phones and computers alike; the bluff-writing and betting controls are built for touch first.
FAQ
Is Bamboozle free?
Yes — completely free, no account, no install. It runs at bamboozle.nazimbo.com and is also listed on the developer's itch.io page.
Can I play solo?
No — it's a social bluffing game. You need at least 2 players, and it's at its best with 4+ so the fake answers have an audience.
Is this the same as "Bamboozled"?
No — several party games share the name. This page covers nazimbo's Bamboozle (the trivia-bluffing game). There's also a separate "Bamboozled" at getbamboozled.in and a bluffing dice game of the same name; if a URL doesn't look like nazimbo.com, it's a different game.
Why isn't it playable on this page?
The game only runs on its own domain — it won't load inside other sites, so the official link above is the way in. That's also a good sign: the link goes straight to the real thing.
