Angledle — Guess the Daily Angle
The daily angle puzzle in the Wordle mould: two rays form a mystery angle between 1° and 359°, and you get six guesses to name the exact degree. Every guess returns a temperature hint and an arrow pointing toward the answer.
How to play
- 1Read the angle
Two rays meet at a point and an arc marks the angle to find — it can be anywhere from 1° to 359°, so reflex angles count too.
- 2Type a degree
Enter a whole number between 1 and 359. No fractions, no half-degrees.
- 3Follow the hints
Each wrong guess returns a temperature — So close (within 5°), Hot (15°), Warm (30°), Cold (beyond) — plus an arrow telling you to aim higher or lower.
- 4Six tries, one answer
Land the exact degree within six guesses to keep your streak. A new angle arrives every morning.
Winning strategy
Open at 180°
It instantly reveals whether the answer is reflex, splitting the dial into two clean halves with one guess.
Bisect the range
After each hint, aim for the middle of the surviving range — unglamorous but mathematically optimal.
Learn anchor angles
30°, 45°, 60°, 120°, 150° and 270° by sight is enough for a passable first guess in seconds.
Convert "So close" carefully
Within 5° plus the arrow leaves at most five candidates — spend the guess, don’t guess twice.
