What the game is

You wake up in Cell 13 of a prison where something is wrong after lights out: prisoners are taken behind the STAFF ONLY door and do not come back the same. Your only goal is to escape before it is your turn. The hook is the split routine - days are about looking like a model prisoner, nights are when the real escape work happens.

It launched in October 2026 and quickly passed 4.5 million visits with tens of thousands of concurrent players. You can run the escape solo or bring up to three friends into the same prison.

How a run works

  1. 1
    Day: work jobs, earn cash

Take prison jobs to build up money. Cash buys tools from OJ's Deals - the in-prison shop that stocks what you need for the escape.

  2. 2
    Keep suspicion low

Be ready for roll call, avoid guards and CCTV, and act normal. Visible tools and suspicious behavior are what get you singled out.

  3. 3
    Night: hide tools and dig

Stash anything you bought, move the toilet in your cell to open the way, and dig into the tunnels beneath the prison.

  4. 4
    Explore the tunnels

The dark tunnels hold the prison's secrets - and the route out. Noise and timing matter; save the loud digging for night.

  5. 5
    Escape before your turn

The STAFF ONLY door is the clock. Prisoners disappear behind it after lights out - finish the escape before the prison picks you.

Threats to watch

Beginner tips

  1. 1
Day one is for income, not digging

Work jobs first so you can actually afford OJ's tools before committing to a tunnel.

  2. 2
    Hide every tool you buy

A visible tool is how suspicion finds you - stash gear before guards see it.

  3. 3
    Learn the roll-call timing

Knowing when you must be seen lets you plan how long a night digging session can run.

  4. 4
    Co-op splits the routine

With friends, one can run jobs while another scouts tunnels - suspicion is easier to manage in a crew.

  5. 5
    Treat it like an Alpha

Rooms, jobs and the STAFF ONLY threat change between updates - re-check what a patch moved before reusing an old route.
