PoE 3.29 Breach Farming Divine Orbs Guide
Consistent Divine Orb profit via Breach farming in Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame. Scarab setup, map preparation, atlas tree, altar priorities, and profit optimization.
Consistent Divine Orb profit through Breach farming in 3.29 Curse of the Allflame, even after heavy nerfs. Efficient players report roughly 2 to 2.5 divines profit per map at about 6 minutes average, yielding around 20 divines per hour with fast clear. Slower clear speeds land closer to 10 to 14 per hour. Extra value comes from the Breach tree via Vaal Orb uniques, currency, and jackpot drops like Mageblood potential.
Scarab Setup
This setup is repeatedly called out by players as remaining cheap and effective after the Breach nerfs. The required scarabs stay relatively priced compared to alternatives.
Map Preparation
-
Choose the right map
Use T16.5 maps or equivalent high-tier. Dunes is preferred for open layout that lets Breaches expand properly. Jungle Valley is a solid alternative.
-
Roll for currency and pack size
Target at least 90% more Currency (higher is better). Prioritize pack size heavily, aim for 33%+ (ideally 40%+). Quantity is also strong. Low pack size is the biggest reported reason for poor returns.
-
Use chisels and exalts
Use a Currency Chisel if cheap (or Pack Size Chisel). Exalt to 6 mods when possible for more pack size and quantity. Avoid or sell maps with mods your build cannot run.
-
Apply Fine Delirium Orbs
Use 1 to 5 Fine Delirium Orbs depending on build tankiness and clear speed. Even one is worth it. More increases raw divine and currency density. Fine orbs are favored this patch because of reward value.
-
Use Breach Astrolabe
Currently worth using at prevailing prices, adds value across the maps it lasts. Re-evaluate if the price spikes hard relative to returns.
Atlas Tree and Altar Strategy
-
Atlas tree allocation
Take full map effect, quantity, Breach nodes, and Beyond (including Endless Tide for ongoing bosses and the more-currency Beyond nodes). The tree is essentially unchanged from the prior patch for this strategy.
ImportantYou need the relevant keystone for proper Unstable Breaches when using the Astrolabe. Players noted this requirement became stricter.
-
Altar selection
Red or blue altars: choose based on your build. CI-style builds can often take most red altars with little downside.
-
Gameplay loop: boss first, then altars, then Breaches
Rush the map boss first (especially on Dunes) to avoid boss altars and get player altars. Clear normal monsters to spawn as many altars as possible, prioritizing quantity, currency duplication, and scarab duplication. Then fully clear the Breaches.
- Overlap or stabilize Breaches if your clear allows
- Clear outer and blue packs thoroughly before the center for better loot
Breach Tree Focus
Uniques and currency nodes are currently preferred. Rares were heavily nerfed.
-
Unique targeting
Target strong Breach uniques (still expensive on market), belts, or jewels depending on market prices.
-
Currency side
Can favor full-stack chances or Flawed Seeds depending on market conditions. Check current prices before committing.
Key Decision Points
-
Bloodlines vs cheap setup
Skip Bloodlines unless the price falls significantly. Testing showed it fails to pay for itself on nerfed Breach.
-
How many Delirium Orbs
Scale to what your build and PC can handle without deaths or major slowdowns. One is already profitable, more is better for density.
-
Map strictness
Be as strict as your volume allows on currency percentage and pack size. Low pack size around 20% is repeatedly called out as a major loot killer.
-
Clear speed vs juice
Faster maps (more volume) matter more than max juice if you cannot sustain high investment safely. Adjust to your clear speed.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Low pack size maps. This is the biggest reported reason for poor returns. Pack size multiplies drops hard.
- Not exalting maps or skipping player altars and proper clear order (boss first, then altars, then full Breach clear with outer packs first)
- Using expensive scarabs that do not scale with the nerfs
- Ignoring the Breach tree value or running suboptimal unique or currency focus
- Expecting old pre-nerf rates. Adjust expectations to the current ~2 div/map baseline for efficient runners.
