MapleStory N Corsair: Sellas Plunging Depths Farming Route
Near-AFK farming setup for Corsair in Sellas Plunging Depths 6. Place turret, hold Rapid Fire, and clear 300 mobs per minute with minimal movement. Approximately 70B EXP/hr under 3x EXP + MVP.
Achieve high EXP and NESO rates on Corsair in Sellas Plunging Depths with minimal active input. Place a turret, hold one skill, and let the map clear itself. This is a chill, near-AFK farming setup, not an active rotation.
Setup and Route (In Order)
Enter Plunging Depths 6. Requires Sellas progression and sufficient Arcane Power (typically 640+ range). Confirm the map name in the top-left minimap so you are not on an adjacent PD map.
Place your turret / summon. Refresh it on cooldown, approximately every minute. This keeps large sections of the multi-platform map cleared passively while you stay mostly stationary.
Position yourself centrally. Find a central or lower platform spot that lets the turret plus your sustained skill cover the dense spawn platforms across the floating platforms and underwater-style terrain.
Hold Rapid Fire. Preferred over Eight-Legs Easton for this chill style. Even though it is single-target, it triggers combo kills far more consistently. You can literally hold one key the entire time. Keep buffs up: Dice locked on 6 if possible, standard Corsair summons and crew as needed.
Maintain Erda Fountain and full-map skills on cooldown. Get Cooldown Reduction on a cheap hat (examples: Necro or Unchained) to make Erda Fountain uptime much easier. This lets you use full-map skills more often without interrupting the hold-Rapid-Fire flow.
Run two Magnet pets for NESO efficiency. If you only have one, grab Mush from the Mapler's Shop. This makes a noticeable difference in loot pickup while you stay mostly stationary on multi-level platforms.
Let the rotation run. Re-place the turret every minute, re-up Erda Fountain and other cooldowns as needed, and keep holding Rapid Fire. The result is continuous multi-kills, high combo counts, and steady EXP ticks with very little platform hopping.
Key Decision Points
- Rapid Fire vs Eight-Legs Easton: Choose Rapid Fire for consistency of combo kills and true one-button chill play. Easton is more multi-target but less preferred for the AFK-style clear on this map.
- CDR priority: Invest in an inexpensive hat with Cooldown Reduction first if your Erda Fountain uptime is poor. This unlocks the hands-off feel more than raw damage upgrades for this specific farm.
- Pets: One magnet pet is okay. Two is the clear upgrade for NESO efficiency on a stationary setup.
- Map choice: Stick to Plunging Depths 6 for the turret plus hold style. Other Plunging Depths maps may work for more active classes, but community sharing highlights PD6 specifically for Corsair.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using Eight-Legs Easton instead of Rapid Fire and wondering why combos feel inconsistent.
- Skipping the second Magnet pet when farming NESO. Loot sits on the multi-level platforms.
- Neglecting Cooldown Reduction on the hat, so Erda Fountain drops and clear quality falls.
- Moving around unnecessarily or treating it like an active rotation map. The point is to place the turret and hold.
- Training on a lower-density or less suitable adjacent PD map without checking spawn density.
Get to Plunging Depths 6, drop your turret, hold Rapid Fire, keep Erda Fountain up with a CDR hat, and run two Magnet pets. Rates scale with your damage, Legion, links, and event multipliers.
