Pick the Right Mission

Do This

  • Terminid/Bug front - less disruption than bots
  • Flat biomes: desert, moon, grassland - FRV runs fastest here
  • Drop near map edge opposite main objective for best circuit

Avoid

  • Ocean/water maps - vehicle can't traverse
  • Dense jungle or city maps - slow traversal, fewer POIs
  • High difficulty - replaces loot POIs with objectives and enemy bases
  • Night drops - reduced visibility slows POI spotting

Diff 2-3 is fine if you want light combat to stay engaged. SC rates stay strong up to Diff 3 on bug maps.

In-Mission Execution

Run Loop

    Drop and immediately call in FRV + Warp Pack.

    Pull up the map (stays open while driving). Drive in a clockwise circuit or search pattern, targeting every minor POI diamond - crates, bunkers, and escape pods.

    Open crates with AMR or Laser Cannon (safer than grenades near explosive barrels). Use Warp Pack to enter bunkers solo - dive at the door then warp.

    Ignore enemies, objectives, and samples unless trivially safe. Keep moving. If a patrol blocks you, detour or use Orbital Laser and continue.

FRV vs. Foot

FRV is the fastest option on flat terrain. Skip it and use Warp Pack or Jump Pack on rough terrain where the vehicle can't keep up with your movement.

Diff 1 vs. Diff 2-3

Diff 1 for pure SC speed with minimal combat interruption. Diff 2-3 if you want occasional fights to stay engaged - SC rates remain strong. Do not go higher than Diff 3 for this farm.

When to quit early

Always. After looting all POIs, quit immediately. There is no SC benefit to completing objectives or extracting. The resources credit the moment you loot them.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Running high difficulty

High-difficulty maps replace loot POIs with objectives and enemy bases. You spend more time fighting and earn fewer SC per minute.

Fighting unnecessary patrols or completing objectives

Every minute spent in combat is a minute not looting. Detour around patrols. Objectives give no SC benefit.

Choosing bad map biomes

Ocean, city, and dense jungle maps slow traversal significantly and often have fewer loot POIs. Always filter for flat open biomes.

Not using Warp Pack for bunkers

Bunkers are a major SC source. Without Warp Pack solo, you can't access them. This is the single biggest gear mistake in the farm.

Extracting instead of quitting
