FF14 Patch 7.51: Auxesia Exploration Token Farming Routes

Prerequisites

• Unlock Auxesia: Complete prior Cosmic Exploration story quests. Start with "The Forests of Paradise" from Searchingway in Oizys after reaching level 10 DoH/DoL.
• Leveled gathering job: Have a Fisher, Miner, or Botanist at level 10+ minimum. Higher levels give better yields and easier gold ranks.
• Upgraded Cosmic Tools: Upgrade your relic tools as far as possible for better performance in missions.
• Consumables: Stock GP food, Hi-Cordials, and any relevant gathering buffs before starting your farming loops.

Farming Route: Step by Step

1. Enter Auxesia via the Cosmoliner

   Travel to Auxesia from Oizys or the relevant hub using the Cosmoliner. Head to fishing or gathering nodes, or the mission NPCs near the zone entrance.
2. Pick a High-Reward Mastery or EX+ Stellar Mission

   Focus on missions that reward tokens on completion. Hotfixes have buffed these for more tokens and points per run. Look for mastery missions with token rewards, not just cosmocredit rewards.
3. Fishing Mastery Route (Top Recommended)

   Fishing is the fastest token output per community reports. Here is the rotation:

   • Target: Wisteria Jellyfish spots or Aquatic Mechanism survey nodes.
   • Rotation: Use Triple Hook on first catch for quick T1 completion and GP refund. Follow with Surface Slap or Powerful Hookset / Meticulous Hookset as needed for high collectability.
   • Goal: Aim for gold rank to maximize points and tokens. One loop can net strong returns in minutes.
   • Loop: Turn in, restart the mission. Players call this "braindead" and fast for the mount grind.
4. Gatherer Alternative (Miner / Botanist)

   If you prefer gathering over fishing, or your Fisher is underleveled:

   • Hit nodes during missions. Focus on high-yield or time-restricted nodes for better returns.
   • Complete objectives for mastery points and tokens. Easier to macro or spam in many cases.
   • Same loop: turn in, restart. Slightly slower than fishing but still efficient post-buffs.
5. Daily and Weekly Loop

   Log in, complete stellar dailies, then run 4 to 8 mastery missions per job. Many players hit 500k points quickly this way (approximately 8 missions per job). Use Red Alerts or Cosmic Scoring events for bonus credits and tokens when available.
6. Exchange Tokens for the Mount

   Turn tokens into booklets at the vendor (Mesouaidonque in Auxesia). 60 booklets (effectively ~6,000 tokens) buys the Cosmic Predator mount. Tokens and the mount are tradable on the Market Board for gil if you prefer to sell.

Key Decision Points

• Fisher vs. Gatherer vs. Crafter: Fisher often wins for pure speed and token output per multiple community guides. Crafters are macro-friendly but can feel slower without optimal stats. Choose based on your highest-leveled job and best gear.
• Gold rank or just complete? Push for gold rank if your gear supports it, as it maximizes rewards. If you are undergeared, hit the first objective and turn in for steady progress instead of failing the full mission.
• Mount now or spread across jobs? Farm one job hard for the mount if you want it fast. Or spread across multiple jobs to also progress the 500k point achievement, which many players say is not bad post-buffs.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Ignoring hotfix buffs. Older guides may undervalue missions that were buffed. Check recent posts for current token rates before committing to a route.
• Poor GP management. Bad rotations lead to failed high-collectability goals. Practice your Triple Hook timing and GP refund chain before spamming missions.
• Spamming low-reward missions. Not all missions give tokens. Focus on token-focused mastery or EX+ missions rather than generic cosmocredit runs.
• Not using food, pots, or optimal tools. Relic tool upgrades make a big difference in mission performance. Bring GP food and Hi-Cordials to sustain long farming sessions.
• Over-focusing on story instead of efficient loops. The zone is beautiful, but if your goal is the mount, prioritize the farming loop over exploration. You can enjoy the scenery between mission restarts.
